Where the soul peeks out
My favorite aspect of portrait drawing is the relationship I create with each subject. That communicative dance is unique each and every time. With each foray into a new artistic endeavor, I hope I can once again make that connection. It remains to be seen.
In the service of others
I have had the privilege to use my artistic skills in the service of others. For one such project, I illustrated a children’s’ book, the proceeds of which go entirely to the LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation. Each page of Stella and the Little Tree was hand painted with watercolors and abundant love. Sample pages from the book are displayed here to showcase the artwork.
